Thank you for considering Precision Roofing, Inc. for your roofing needs. We take pride in our company and feel it is our responsibility to give you an idea of what to expect if we have the opportunity to serve you. We are a locally owned business. The owner of the company, Tom Pierson, started the business out of high school over 30 years ago. He is still actively involved in all aspects of the job. Whether this is your first experience hiring a roofing company or you have been through this process before, please take the time to read the following important information.
We will obtain the permit for you and bill you upon completion of the job. The municipalities vary on how they calculate pricing and some require a licensed roofing contractor to apply for the permit.
The materials for most of our jobs are delivered to our warehouse. We will bring the shingles, felt, wood, etc. on our trucks on the day we do your job. Occasionally, we do have a supplier deliver the material, if this is the case for your job we will let you know ahead of time.
Our crew should arrive between 7 - 8 am. Please have your vehicles out of the garage and off the driveway, so that they will have complete access to the work area. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
In most cases, we bring our own trucks to haul off debris. If a dumpster is needed, we try to have it removed as soon as possible after the job is completed.
If we are tearing off all existing roofing, we suggest that you cover any valuable items you may have in your attic with plastic or tarps to keep them protected. Our responsibility in regards to cleaning up is limited to the outside of your home.
In some cases hammering may cause walls to vibrate. You may want to remove valuable items from walls, shelves and mantels.
We try to take every precaution when it comes to protecting your home and your yard. We lay tarps under areas where we will be tearing off the roof. We also lay plywood up against your house around the windows and doors. As hard as we try, flowers and shrubs can become damaged due to the nature of our business. We will be glad to move any necessary items in yard away from the work area.
If you have hanging branches over your roof some trimming may be necessary. Our crew members will need to cut back any branches that hinder their ability to do their job efficiently and safely. In some cases, you may prefer to get your trees trimmed before the job begins.
Our proposals are based on completed jobs. Any surplus materials remain the property of Precision Roofing, Inc.
As with any roofing job, some inconvenience is expected. We do our best to minimize the disruption of your everyday routine. We will contact you to schedule contracted work and we try to stay as close to your scheduled date as possible. Please keep in mind that the weather is unpredictable and can be a factor, we will notify you of any schedule changes. Precision Roofing, Inc. is fully licensed, bonded and insured. All of Precision Roofing, Inc. employees are covered by workers' compensation for your protection as well as our own.
We will be happy to supply you with a copy of our insurance coverage upon request. We thank you for this opportunity and look forward to working for you in the future.
